I only just saw your new post today!

Believe it or not. But yeah, i have been pretty non-existent on cyberspace for a while.
Well, you see these past few weeks has been CRAZY.

Campaigning for student council in NJ started and I ran, and i got in, and i ran for ExCo, and i got in as well. Can tell you more if you wanna know but easier on msn or something when i'm actually thinking coherently! haha.

(you know i can't believe i just summed that up into 1 sentence. seriously I have too many things to say to you to go into details!)

SO MANY MANY things has been happening 'Lou and I MISS talking to you so badly. I know we're online together sometimes but I simply fail in starting a convo with you. I knew i shouldn't have put it off too long.

There's just gonna be so many things left unsaid now.

Anyway,

GREAT to hear aobut the NYC trip! my god after reading that short paragraph about your trip, I'm reliving my own 2 weeks there in December. I miss it so damn bad ):

But WOAAAAHH VJ band that powerful huh! :D

And about the not liking science bit?
Seriously louise, this is freaky. That thought has been crossing my mind for most part of this year you know!

It's like.. there's so many things i don't believe now. I've begun to question science a lot and being indignant about how so many things are just taken as assumptions and everyone just believes it so easily and all that (this is another topic for discussion for both of us soon i hope!)

And yeah, that thought, about going to arts stream, did cross my mine as well! Like maybe i'm just better suited for it after all. What with my love for writing and all that. After all, I do seem to do better in humanities with my essays and all. :S

Sigh there's so many things to say to you louise. I wish i hadn't put off a conversation with you for this long! I don't care, the next time i see you online, i'm starting a convo immediately.

Hopefully you'll read this soon as well!

And yeah i have stopped blogging for a while now, so that's why i didn't realise you updated the site!!! ):

Where have you been? Haven't really seen you around in cyberspace |:
How are you and your family?

Hee all's ok here. School life has been really hectic, and oh the school band went to New York last week! Man it was fabulous! The weather was nice and cool, the stuff to see and do there were fun (plus the shopping!) and our experience there as a band was really once-in-a-lifetime! We participated in the NY Band and Orchestra Festival and there were only 6 bands/orchestras and we were the only non-american group! Hehe and the best part was to perform in Carnegie Hall which was really pretty. The day-long flights to and fro to the US were really worth it! :D I'm feeling new-york-sick now... I'll put up photos on my blog if I have time!

I feel like a band freak! But that's not a bad thing!

Currently having lots of projects! Mostly tupid ones that aren't really beneficial to our well-being. Heh. I'm starting to really dislike the sciences because I have really robotic science teachers and the subjects are kinda boring to me. Whoops... But I really like lit. Thinking of going to the arts stream in JC. Don't know if that's good for me.

and yeah i'll see what i can do about the blogskin! holidays are ending so fast (and i havent done much homework... whoops) yeah i remember the sobbing thing! it was that habbo-like character banging the floor..

and thanks alot for your advice and encouragement! :D i just asked the band people about it yesterday and they said that they would contact me. hehe.

ooh i want obs too! i don't think the vip students would have that till jc1. which is quite sad... and i feel that its good you took the opportunity to go for the overseas enrichment programme! haha i know i myself wouldn't possibly do that because i'm lazy or something. and i'm not really a very good person to network with people :/ but i think its getting better now cos in ip people in your class know other people in other classes which leads to you knowing more people too :D well i'm sure you'll have a great time there!

i've been slacking the whole holiday! i seriously dunno what i'm doing. the first two weeks were okay but third week was totally thrown away. hmm. oh i'm sorry i dont have the soundtrack... i only have that of the first pirates movie. and i havent caught the third movie yet (not to mention the second). my bad :/

AHHHH HEEHEE I ALSO CANT WAIT FOR DEATHLY HALLOWS AND OOTP! whoo! time to frequent mugglenet.

and good luck for your exams! i'm certain you'll ace it all since you've put in alot of effort :D my bro has exams on the first week too... sigh. go tracy!

Yes, haha back from the tagboard stint. I think you should start reading there first though there isn't much you'll miss..

ANYWAY -

HELLO, HELLO, FELLOW!

hahaha hope you're as brilliant as always. Now about your cca, I really really think you should switch back to band. It was and is and always will be your first love. So I think now's a good time to start planning for the future. I mean i don't think you'll be wanting to spend 4 long years in the rifle range standing there in the exact same spot shooting at the exact same target. Now that I think of it, it actually sounds quite sad... unless of course you're uber passionate for it like i am for bowling. However, in band it'll be different won't it. Working your magic on that beloved piece of brass (brass right..haha), everytime a whole new, different piece i really think that sounds more like you. So, i hope i'm not the only one to say this: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, GET YOUR BREATH BACK IN BAND! throw down the rifle and start firing up the band room instead!

Ho-hum now i go on to the part where i complain of my very very short and painful holiday that YIKES, is coming to an end next week. -starts doing the sobbing action- (you know, our fave emoticon on msn last time?)

See the first week of holidays was spent doing what I love - bowling. Competitions galore but even that was over in no time.

And then from then till this day i've been slogging my guts out doing work and revision for my bloody ASSweek!!!

You know what's the one thing that can spoil your holiday? It's having EXAMS in the first week immediately
after it's over!!! Yes, no joke. First day of school, first day of exams. HOW TO ENJOY?

urgh.

But on a lighter note, after all hell breaks loose and is vanished and conquered yet again by me, the brilliant (hyah, right) it's off to OBS for a week and then Australia for two weeks!!!

Now, I think Korea was a very good experience right? First time abroad without the family too yeah?

Well for me it's australia for two weeks in july! But you see this isn't an official school trip. It's like we have a week of enrichment after OBS and we each have to fulfill 15 hours worth of enrichment activities ranging from different courses or lectures you can attend. Haha but you know me I can't resist the offer of travel so yes, me and three others from my cohort opted to go for this overseas enrichment programme instead. It's organised by Trinity College, which is under the National Uni of Melbourne. It's like a summer school - or winter school for this matter. So I'm really looking forward to it. Even if there's going to be so few of us. But hey, it's a good change to work on my networking, what with meeting students our age from all over the world. So yeah, hope it goes well!

Oh by the way, have you gone for your OBS yet?
How is mum and dad? Hope all's well at home too yeah?

Oh man I really really really miss the childhood days (this makes me sound so old)... AH I don't want to grow up D: AND I guess sometimes we just gotta accept wherever we are yeah (:

HAHA I see your cohort is scandalous! Mine ah... okay so far, got some scandals at the beginning but now it's sorta settled down.

I'm glad you like your CCA! I'm not really sure about air rifle... I'm only okay at it, and we do exactly the same thing every training day (stand at the same spot without moving for 2 hours plus and shoot). I'm feeling a bit sian at air rifle, it doesn't exactly feel like what I wanted. I'm considering joining band, but its a real difficult choice because 1)It's really stressful there (self-pressure since everyone else is uber pro) 2)Less time to mug (and i know I've got bad time management) 3)The whole trombone section are guys (which is really shocking and saddening and the main reason why I'm still considering) I'm really unsure about what to do, since the term's gonna start soon... People are asking me to join but I dunno if I'm up to it. :

Anyway, hope the first sem went well for you! (I'm sure it did :D) Mine was pretty okay. Went to Korea with the cohort at the start of the holidays... It was kinda sucky (shh!) because it was their first time there and we visted museums where everything was in korean. But the visit to an acedemy was nice (their campus is super big! they have a gym on top of a hill, their hostel on the other side of the hill, one gigantic track, 8 tennis courts...) and we went to some youth center to learn traditional stuff and we went to a theme park. Hehe. So I guess it's half okay half not okay.

And now I've got lotsa projects and work waiting to be done. But I'm lazy to do :)

OMG you really did a good job of bringing back those memories! Not that I forgot about them, but oh - HAS IT REALLY BEEN THAT LONG?

I close my eyes and I see us back to those days. So young and carefree with hardly any major troubles at all.

Those really were the days now weren't they.

And now we can only refer to them as "the good ol' days"

I think life has been unfair to the both of us. I mean come on, after 4 years of togetherness surely we deserved to be together in SN. But no, we were so carelessly chucked to different classes yet again.

I look back and I can't help but wonder how different our lives might have been had we spent the whole time of our education up till now - together. But all that will remain a fantasy.

What better time than the present.

Ya I know how it seems. I thought my class was very bonded too. But then time past and the pressure of school shifted into the picture and everything seemed less perfect. But really, give it time and I'm sure everything will turn out fine (:

Oh and my level's seriously scandalous. Haha but I guess it just goes with the whole co-ed flow.

How are you doing? Which cca did you join? (paiseh i forgot)

I just finished my review papers last week and the mathematics was really horribly difficult. I heard only FIVE passed and four of them are PRCs :\ And so I'm having my enrichment week now which is kind of okay. And now I find my class not exactly bonded yet (ironically we seemed bonded in term 1) which is quite sad, because people lack trust in each other and there's alot of strained relationships but I think it's getting better (:

Hee I was teaching my classmate how to play Heart and Soul on the piano and i remembered it was the first song you taught me! And it was the first song I memorised. Haha.

Hope to see you soon too! I was just wondering how Sheryl and Deannah are doing now (remember the pri 4 clique and how we used to draw houses and talk in codes).
